CHENNAI: R. Aswath emerged as sole leader with 5.5 points in the boys' section at the end of the sixth round of the Tamil Nadu State sub-junior (under-15) chess championship here on Sunday.

Shyaam Nikhil of Madurai, P. Lokesh, R.Ramnath Bhuvanesh of Chennai and K. Narayanan of Sivaganga District with 5 ponts are in joint second position.
