Mahbubnagar: Two persons were taken into custody on Sunday in connection with the ghastly incident in which 13 persons were burnt alive on Friday night at Polkampalli village of Daulathabad mandal in the district, according to the police authorities. Though they were reluctant to reveal the names of the arrested persons, it is learnt that main accused in the case Dr. Ananthaiah, brother of late Kistappa, and Ashok, eldest son of the deceased Hanmaiah, were taken into custody. But Ashok, while speaking to local media at Kodangal police station, denied that he was taken into custody. "I have come here on my own to lodge a complaint against the brutal attack on my family by the rival group," he said. Ashok alleged that over 100 men led by Dr. Ananthaiah and Srihari, son of Kistappa, torched his two houses and burnt alive 13 persons of his family.
