Letters to the Editor
The killing of Abu Musab Al-Zarqawi, Osama bin Laden's top aide in Iraq, is certainly a cause for celebration for those Iraqis whose loved ones had become the victims of his onslaught against humanity on the basis of false propaganda. The likes of Zarqawi have shattered the very basis of all religions peace and tolerance for all faiths.
Anjum Husain,
The rejoicing by the U.S. administration, the Iraqi Government, and its people over Zarqawi's killing could be short-lived. If past incidents in Iraq are any indication, the elimination of the Al-Qaeda leader will surely trigger a violent backlash.
R. Ramarathinam,
