Kodaikanal St. Peter's wins title

DINDIGUL: St. Peter's Cricket Club, Kodaikanal, set a unique record by winning the eleven-team first division title for the 14th consecutive year, with an all-win record (74 points), in the Dindigul District Cricket Association League. First division:

G.T. Narayanasamy Naidu Memorial Trophy: St. Peter's CC, Kodaikanal. Special awards: Batsman: R. Ganesh (Majestic CC). Bowler: P. Rajmohan (Majestic CC). All-rounder: M. Mohamed Raffick (APCC).

Cricketer of the year: K. Vinothkumar. Promising Youngster: R.K. Kiran (Sam Babu XI).

Second division:

M.V. Muthiah Pillai Memorial Trophy: RVS Sports Club.

Special awards: Batsman: P. Sivabalan (Kodai CC). Bowler: S. Mahesh (National CC). All-rounder: G. Karikalan (Free Birds CC).

Third division: KAR Leathers P Ltd Trophy: Sri Vasantha Sweets CC.

Special awards: Batsman: Dhanabal (Bharath CC). Bowler: Bijay Rajan (Mansur CC). All-rounder: M. Mohammed (Vaigai CC).
