THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Coastal Club blanked Pettah Youngsters 3-0 to record its second win in the Thiruvananthapuram district super division football league at the Central Stadium here on Monday. J. Thomas (35th), Nigel (54th) and Sunil (56th) scored for the winner. Coastal completed its league engagements with seven points from six matches and is currently fourth in the standings. Pettah suffered its third defeat in four games and is facing the threat of relegation. It faces Titanium and SBT in its remaining matches and only an upset can save Pettah from relegation. St. Mary's FC improved its chances of staying in the super league after holding St. George FC to a 1-1 draw. Noel put St. George ahead in the 18th minute but Johnson restored parity for St. Mary's in the 54th minute. St. George, with five points, finished fifth in the league while St. Mary's, with two points, is now sixth. Principal Correspondent
