SpiceJet records 92 p.c. passenger load factor

NEW DELHI: SpiceJet, the private no-frills domestic carrier, on Monday claimed to have achieved 92 per cent passenger load factor in May. It said that on certain days in May, the airline even recorded 100 per cent load factor on its entire network. Last month, SpiceJet flew 1,397 flights of which 236 flights reported 100 per cent load factor. More than 63 per cent of its flights reported 90 per cent or more load factor. Sectors which reported 100 per cent load factor were: Delhi-Ahmedabad, Delhi-Goa, Delhi-Srinagar, Delhi-Hyderabad and Ahmedabad-Bangalore.
