Initiative to promote monsoon tourism
KOCHI:
Kodiyeri Balakrishnan, Minister for Home, Tourism and Vigilance, launched Monsoon Tourism @ Silver Storm, an initiative of Silver Storm Water Theme Park and Kerala Tourism, here on Monday. As part of the initiative, visitors will get a ticket free for every ticket purchased from the park. The second ticket will be valid for six months. This is part of the initiative to promote monsoon tourism, which was traditionally considered as off-season. Steps are afoot to bring more domestic and foreign tourists to Kerala during monsoons.
