Staff Reporter

MADURAI: Maharashtra Knowledge Corporation Limited (MKCL), a public limited company engaged in design, development and delivery of e-learning/e-governance, is planning to get listed on the bourses.

The Maharashtra Government and ten universities in that State are the equity shareholders in this closely held company.

With the turnover crossing Rs. 100 crore, "We are having plans to get listed on the stock exchanges and the timing of the listing will have to be decided by the board keeping in mind the stock market conditions", Vivek Sawant, Managing Director, MKCL, told The Hindu here on Sunday.

MKCL has 3,500 authorised training centres and is keen to expand in other States deploying its technical and academic expertise.
