ANANTAPUR: The Sri Krishnadevaraya University wing of National Students' Union of India on Tuesday forced closure of undergraduate courses examination section in the university, demanding conduct of advanced supplementary examination for B.Ed.

Later, students led by NSUI submitted a memorandum to Financial Officer and in-charge Registrar of the university W.R. Narasimhan.

They also spoke to Vice-Chancellor A. Rama Rao and Registrar R. Ramakrishna Reddy, who are camping in New Delhi with regard to completion of formalities pertaining to the new engineering college sanctioned to the university.

They assured the NSUI that they would take a decision after their return from New Delhi.

NSUI leader Ch. Rami Reddy explained to Mr. Narasimhan that the number of candidates who failed in B.Ed. examination of the university was very high this year and they would lose the opportunity of appearing for the DSC announced recently.
