NALGONDA: Putting an end to the intense secrete parleys among them, leaders of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) and the Telugu Desam officially announced the seat adjustment between them at a press conference here on Tuesday. TDP Vice-President Gutta Sukhender Reddy, district unit president Badugula Lingaiah Yadav and another leader L.V. Kumar came to Doddi Komaraiah Bhavan, the CPI (M) district headquarters, to take part in a joint press conference with its team led by the district secretary Ch. Sitaramulu.
Seven-year gap
"We are coming to this office after a gap of seven years. CPI (M) is our old friend, you know," said Mr. Sukhender. Mr. Sitaramulu announced that his party would field its candidates in 24 ZPTC and 18 MPTC president posts.
