Workshop for EAMCET rank-holders today

KARIMNAGAR: The stage is set for the conduct of The Hindu Education Plus workshop for EAMCET-qualified candidates at the SRR Degree and PG College auditorium in Karimnagar on Wednesday.

This is the first time, students of north Telangana region -- Karimnagar, Warangal, Nizamabad and Adilabad districts - will have a one-one interaction with eminent academicians and specialists in various subjects to clear doubts on careers in engineering and medicine and other allied fields in Karimnagar district headquarters.

The workshop will have two sessions -- engineering (10 a.m. to 1 p.m.) and medicine (2 p.m. to 5 p.m.) Registration for each student is Rs. 50. Students who have not registered so far can walk in to the venue on Wednesday morning and register.

The Kakatiya University Vice-Chancellor V. Gopal Reddy will inaugurate the workshop in the presence of SRR Degree and PG College Principal P. Kondal Reddy.

Kamala Institute of Technology and Sciences (KITS), Huzurabad, principal Babu Shankar; Vivekananda Institute of Technology and Sciences (VITS), Karimnagar, principal Venkataramana Reddy; Vaageshwari College of Engineering, Karimnagar, principal C. Sanjay; Pharmacy Council of India member M. Venkata Reddy; Kakatiya Medical College Principal T. Surender; Chalimeda Ananda Rao Institute of Medical Sciences Dean and Superintendent Ranga Reddy, Karimnagar Government headquarters Hospital Deputy Surgeon K.L.V. Prasad; Animal Husbandry Department Deputy Director Ramesh and others will clear the doubts of students on various courses and career opportunities.
