CSR's centenary celebrations from July 11

HYDERABAD: City-based Sri C.S.R. Kalamandiram will celebrate centenary of C.S.R. Anjaneyulu, renowned stage and film actor, from July 11, his birth anniversary, in coordination with Vignana Deepika.

He was well-known for his portrayals as Krishna, Ramadas, Sarangadhara, Bhavani Sankar, Tukaram and Satyavantha.

Ayyadevara Purushothama Rao, Kalamandiram founder said CSR as he was popular, entered the Telugu film industry in 1936 playing Krishna. He mesmerised audiences donning roles of Rama, Venkateswara, Sagarayya.
