BANGALORE: Women achievers in the field of applied nutrition have been honoured here. The Lifetime Achievements Award went to Tara Gopaldas, former professor of nutrition at the MS University, Baroda.

The Best Practicing Dietician Award was presented to Molly Joshi of Ludhiana, and Shikha Nayar, doing her masters in nutrition , won the Outstanding Student Nutritionist Award.
