Violin recital

BANGALORE: Young, talented musicians no longer need wait for years to be recognised. Many platforms are open to them these days. Arohana will conduct a violin and vocal recital at Ananya Sabhangana in Malleswaram on June 18. Among the musicians to be featured will be Vittal Rangan, a 7th standard student of Poorna Prajna Education Centre, and who can play on the violin all 72 melakarta raagas and some more. He has been learning the violin for some years now. Another artiste will be Anjali Sriram, a 9th standard student of Sophia School, a gifted singer who is expected to have a great future.
