Film director dead

HYDERABAD:
Telugu film-maker and writer Vigneswara Rao, 80, popularly known as K.V. Rao, died here on Monday night.
He is survived by three daughters. Rated among top directors, he was assistant to H.M. Reddy and later worked with Adurti Subba Rao and Pratyagatma.
Rao was associate director for a number of films made by Annapurna Studios as also Bapu-Ramana.
He wrote humourous film pieces under the pen names of `Vyara' and `Swami Chitrananda'. These were later published.
