`Kethaganahalli not under BMIC project area'

Staff Reporter

BANGALORE: The State Government on Tuesday clarified that Kethaganahalli village did not come under the controversial Bangalore-Mysore Infrastructure Corridor project area. Reports in a section of press had claimed that Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy owned 24 acres of land near the village, located near the BMIC project being promoted by Nandi Infrastructure Corridor Enterprise.

The Karnataka Industrial Area Development Board Special Deputy Commissioner T.C. Krishnaswamy said in a press release here that the village did not come under the jurisdiction of either the expressway project or the townships that were going to be built as part of the project.
