BANGALORE: Four persons threatened a dog breeder and made away with articles worth Rs. 1 lakh from her house in Banjara Enclave near Hennur Cross on Monday night. According to police, Radhika Srinivas was alone in the house when the incident occurred. Around midnight, four persons broke open a window by using crowbars and entered the house. As they were searching for articles, Ms. Srinivas got woke up and confronted the miscreants, who threatened her with a knife and a gun and took made away with a gold chain, two bangles, two mobile phones, silver articles and some electronic gadgets. The Hennur police have registered a case.
Nabbed
Alert passersby chased and caught four miscreants who were running away after robbing two persons in Mico Layout police station limits on Monday night. According to police, the four had allegedly threatened Vikas and Saleem with knives on 7th Main Road of BTM Layout and relieved them of Rs. 400, two mobile phones and a wristwatch. As the miscreants were escaping, Vikas and Saleem raised an alarm. Some persons chased them and caught them. The four accused, Sridhar, Gunashekar, Manohar and Krishna, were handed over to the police.
Theft at shop
A person threatened the owner of a mobile phone showroom and made away with four mobile phone handsets and Rs. 5,000 on Malleswaram 5th Cross on Monday night. According to police, the person, posing as an executive, came to R Computer Mobile showroom and asked the owner, Guru, to show him four costly mobile phones. Guru, who was preparing to close the shop, removed four mobile phone sets from the counter and showed to the stranger. When he asked for money, the stranger threatened him with a knife and went away Rs. 5,000 in cash and the four handsets.
