Thiruvananthapuram: Residents' associations in the city have been asked to submit biodata of those interested in working as traffic monitors to regulate traffic and as volunteers for the night watch scheme being implemented under the Maitri scheme of the city police, in association with the Federation of Residents' Association Thiruvananthapuram (FRAT).

The residents' associations can forward a list of eight volunteers and any number of youths to work as traffic monitors to the FRAT or to the police station concerned before Friday, a release from the FRAT said.
