THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Holy Angels Higher Secondary School, Vanchiyoor, will remain closed on Wednesday as a mark of respect to B.P. Arathi, a Class VI student, who died, Principal Sr. Louisa said here on Tuesday.

Darshan for devotees

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Bharadwaja Swamigal of the Sri Yogamaya Bhuvaneswari Peetam, Ambattur, Chennai, who is in the city, began performing daily `pujas' and `homas' at Senthil, Veerabhadra Gardens, Pattom, on Wednesday. He will give `darshan' to the devotees from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. till June 24.

Food poisoning: 3 fall ill

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Three persons from Muttada were rushed to Medical College Hospital on Tuesday night following symptoms of food poisoning after they consumed mushrooms. Hospital sources said Aswathi, 15, her mother, Shobha, 40, and their neighbour, Remya, 27, have been hospitalised. — Staff Reporter
