A 7-habits workshop for teachers

Staff Reporter

Aimed at fostering measurable change in performance levels

CHENNAI: Educational Initiatives (E.I), an organisation working in the area of school education, conducted a workshop `The 7 habits of highly effective people' for schoolteachers recently.

Its aim was to inspire a measurable change and improvement at the personal, managerial and organisational levels in institutions, especially to improve the performance of principals and school leaders and to provide a platform to share their insights and experiences.

E.I's leadership training head Vishnuteerth Agnihotri conducted the workshop, based on Stephen Covey's book The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People.

Academic heads said the event helped their teachers "to absorb the vision of the schools." Applying these concepts would help them understand students' emotions better, they said.
