Surfing for genuine humour

Humour seems to be the current flavour in all Malayalam channels. There was a time when the 10 p.m. prime time slot on all Malayalam channels used to be reserved for horror serials. Comedy serials have taken over this slot in all channels now. The humour is often forced and often leans too much on the use of Thiruvananthapuram dialect for eliciting laughs. However, many of these serials have a good star cast. Viewers are left to surf channels in an attempt to find genuine humour.
