With the new Government starting reshuffle of bureaucracy, Home Minister Kodiyeri Balakrishnan has been flooded with requests for transfer. All the requests received from police personnel were for posting in the emigration, law and order, and traffic wings, Mr. Balakrishnan, who visited the Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau headquarters in the capital on Wednesday, said. Surprisingly, there was not a single request for posting in the Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau engaged in checking corruption.
