Drugs found to be not of standard quality

Bangalore: The Drug Testing Laboratory has found that the following drugs are not of standard quality: Takel-D tablets manufactured by Malar Health Care, Gandhinagar, Gujarat; Oxyface capsules manufactured by Laker Pharma Ltd., Penoli; Maxiferon capsules manufactured by Saftesule Private Ltd., Mumbai; Ciproz-500 tablets and Ciprofloxacine tablets manufactured by Sanchez Pharmaceuticals, Tohan; Vardplex Power (vitamin B complex) manufactured by Vardhaman Exports, Navi Mumbai; Caplac manufactured by Maridian Medicare, Shanti, Himachal Pradesh; Ringer Lactate solution manufactured by Healthline, Kumbalgod; Vitamin B complex manufactured by Himanshu Pharmaceuticals, Bangalore; Ticof Cough Syrup and Medicof Cough Syrup manufactured by Maxhal India, Chennai; and Medcoril - E expectorant manufactured by Medlay Pharmaceuticals, Daman.

The Drugs Controller has warned chemists, wholesalers, doctors and hospitals not to stock, sell or use these drugs.
