Junior Assistant held on graft charge

VIZIANAGARAM: Anti-corruption bureau sleuths trapped and arrested Kinjarapu Appala Suryanarayana, a junior assistant in Denkada mandal revenue office for demanding and accepting Rs. 1,000 from a journalist of a local daily for issuing title deed of his land on Friday, said Deputy Superintendent of Police (ACB) P. Madhusudhana Rao.

The DSP said that a chemical analysis conducted on the tainted notes was found positive.

He would be produced in ACB special court in Visakhapatnam on Saturday, said the DSP
