Inflation rate up at 4.72 p.c.

NEW DELHI: The inflation rate rose to 4.72 per cent during the week ended June 3 from 4.68 per cent in the previous week owing to higher prices of fruits, vegetables and some manufactured products. The inflation rate stood at 4.39 per cent during the corresponding week of the previous year.
