Cardiac care camp

CHENNAI: A cardiac care camp will be conducted at Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre, 22 A, Bawa Road, Alwarpet from June 26 to June 28 between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. Diagnostic and lab investigations such as ECG, X-ray, fasting sugar, total cholesterol, haemoglobin, triglycerides and creatinine will be done at a subsidised rate of Rs.900. Free training

Ma Foi Academy is offering free training for a career in instructional design. Instructional designers develop course content and work with other course creators for better standards. Art exhibition

An exhibition of around 200 antique prints of renowned artist, Raja Ravi Varma, will be held at Lalit Kala Akademi, Greams Road from June 18 to June 24 between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. The exhibition from the personal collection of D. Jegatishwari, a resident of Royapettah, which is nearly 100 years old, is to be inaugurated by lyricist Vairamuthu.

Free eye camp

A free eye check up camp will be jointly organised by A's Vision Center, LB Road and I Care, Virugambakkam, for children and teenagers (age between eight and 18) from June 19 to July 19 (11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.) For details, contact Tel: 42019063 or 2377 4105.

Cardiac diseases camp

A cardiac diseases camp is being organised at Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Sankara Hospital till June 24 in association with Rotary Club of Anna Nagar-Adithya, North Madras, Mylapore and Perungudi. Investigations such as ECG, X-ray-chest and treadmill will be done at a subsidised rate of Rs.1,100.

Participants may also join the obesity reduction programme, which costs Rs.1,100 per month.

Educational loan

Indian Bank is conducting an educational loan promotion campaign on Sunday at its 22 branches.

Eligible students seeking loans can visit venues at Asiad Colony, Ayanavaram, Ambattur, Egmore, Esplanade, Kodambakkam, Kolathur, L.B. Road, Mylapore, Manali, Madipakkam, Nandanam, Nungambakkam, Purasawalkam, Royapettah, Royapuram, Saidapet, T. Nagar, Tambaram East, Tiruninravur and Valasaravakkam.

Bank opens new branches

Lakshmi Vilas Bank has opened its T. Nagar and Velachery branches on Wednesday.

It plans to open 20 more branches during this year.
