Vehicle theft: three arrested

KOCHI: The Mattanchery police arrested Riaz Babu, 20, and Rinis, 20, of Eranadu and Abdul Sherief, 27, of Vandoor, in connection with car theft cases.

According to K.P. Lailaram, Assistant Commissioner, Mattanchery, the three had stolen nine cars from Malapuram and sold them in different parts of the State. The police are on the lookout for three more persons involved in the case. The investigation team consisted of K.N. Anirudhan, CI, and A. Abdul Wahab, SI.
