The Department of Adult Continuing Education, Extension and Field Outreach, Avinashilingam University will conduct certificate courses in Fashion Designing, Herbal Beauty Applications, Interior Decoration, Basic Computer Applications, Tally, C, C++, Photoshop, DTP, Soft Toys making, Cushion Making, Bridal Makeup and Bouquet Making. Housewives, SHG members and small-scale entrepreneurs can participate. Cell phone maintenance, preparation of nutritious fast-foods, bakery products and appalam making are some of the other courses that would be offered in addition to spoken English and Hindi.
