Vehicle set ablaze

BANGALORE: Irate villagers set a tipper on fire after the vehicle fatally knocked down a woman on Sarjapur Road in Koramangala police station limits on Friday.

The police gave the name of the woman as Yashodamma (29), wife of Venkataswamy, resident of Sulkunte village, Varthur hobli. The accident occurred around 6.15 p.m. when the woman was crossing the road near Kaigondarahalli.
