S.R. Ashok Kumar

CHENNAI: Tamil films featuring foreign actors have almost always clicked at the box office.

Remember MGR dancing with Thai actor Meta Rungrutta in `Pachaikkili... muthusaram...' in the movie Ulagam Suttrum Vaaliban.

The public welcomed and appreciated foreign artists in A.P. Nagarajan's Mael Naattu Marumagal, the Rajinikant starrer Priya, Sivaji Ganesan's Pilot Premnath, and director Bharathiraaja's Nadodi Thendral.

The songs in these films too were hits.

Now, Sathyaraj is pairing up with Parvesh, a youngster from Iran, in his new movie Reel No.15.

The movie, which stars three heroines, is directed by Bharath Hanna.

Parveen and Suja are the other lead ladies.

It is reported that the film director who went to Bangalore to search for new faces chanced on Parvesh who is doing her higher studies there.

Vadivel, Alex, Y.Gee. Mahendran and Vyapuri also star in the movie.

The film is being produced by Sri Saravana Film Arts.

Bharath Hanna handles the story, screenplay, dialogue and direction of the movie.
