THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Filmmaker Adoor Gopalakrishnan will inaugurate the 6th International Film Festival being organised by Filca from June 23 to 29 at Kalabhavan. `Saira' directed by Biju, which won the best actress award for Navya Nair, will be the opening film. A retrospective of Pasolini will be the highlight of the festival. Some of his films that will be screened are: `The Gospel According to St. Mathew,' `Theorem,' `Decameron,' and `The Canterbury Tales.' The festival is organised in association with Alliance Francaise, Embassy of France and Chalachitra Academy. A seminar on new wave cinema will also be arranged as a part of the festival.
