NCC camp ends on a colourful note

TTD Executive Officer urges students to join the NCC stream

TIRUPATI: The Combined Annual Training Camp conducted by 11 (Andhra) Air Squadron (Tech) wing of NCC's Tirupati group came to a grand close with a colourful closing ceremony here on Saturday evening. Some 750 cadets (both boys and girls) took part in the camp from the districts of Chittoor, Kadapa and Nellore.

TTD Executive Officer A.P.V.N. Sarma took part as chief guest at the valedictory session and addressed the cadets on topics like unity, discipline and national integration. He spoke of the need for one to have a solid physique and a sound mind to serve the country and wanted more students to join the NCC stream.

Impressive show

Tirupati group commander Sandeep Kumar explained the various activities taken up in the three districts.

The cadets gave an impressive performance at the cultural sessions.

Especially, the dance sequence by girl cadets to latest filmi numbers was appreciated by the audience.
