`Recast council constituencies'

HYDERABAD: The Andhra Pradesh Progressive Recognised Teachers' Union has complained that there is `unevenness' in the proposed Legislative Council (teachers) constituencies in Telangana, East and West Godavari and Krishna districts.

In a resolution adopted here on Sunday, the PRTU executive wanted the Government to restructure the constituencies based on strength of teachers and educational institutions in the districts.
