Plans to set up consumer information centres
Staff Reporter
HYDERABAD:
A consumer information centre is proposed to be set up in each mandal of Hyderabad district.
The Hyderabad District Consumer Information Centre (DCIC) in a statement on Sunday asked consumer voluntary organisations or NGOs willing to set up such centres to contact DCIC convenor-cum-advisor Govind Kabra (98491-99901) or Chandrasekhar (94407-32227) on or before June 20.
The Hyderabad DCIC has been functioning from the premises of the Hyderabad district Collectorate, Chirag Ali Lane, and consumers can lodge their complaints about defective goods, deficiency in service or unfair trade practices either in person or over phone no. 23203030, the statement added.
