Teenager drowned in well

BANGALORE: A teenager, who had gone for swimming with his friends, was drowned in a well in the Peenya Police Station limits on Saturday.

The police gave the name of the dead as Sajjad, a I PU student of SJRC College in the city and resident of Lottegollahalli. According to the police, Sajjad and his four friends had gone for a swim in the well when the incident occurred.

After the swim, they started back but Sajjad returned as he had left the air float in the well. While trying to locate the float, he lost balance and was drowned, the police said. Peenya Police have registered a case.
