Traffic diversion on Outer Ring Road

BANGALORE: The traffic police from Sunday have diverted traffic at Banaswadi-Ramamurthinagar Junction on the Outer Ring Road in view of the construction of an underpass.

An official release said the BDA has proposed to construct the underpass within a year and has requested for traffic diversion, which came into effect on Sunday. Vehicles plying on the ORR from Hebbal towards K.R. Puram (north to west) have to take the northern carriageway near Canara Bank Colony Junction and take the original carriageway near Channasandra graveyard. Similarly, vehicles plying from K.R. Puram towards Hebbal have to take the service road near Channasandra graveyard to reach the ORR near Canara Bank Colony Junction.

Vehicles moving on Ramamurthinagar towards Kasturinagar on the service road have to take a left on the ORR and turn right at Kasturinagar cross to go ahead. Vehicles on Banaswadi Main Road plying from north to south have to go to Horamavu Junction and turn right to move towards Ramamurthinagar.
