Staff Reporter

NEW DELHI: A senior stenographer with the Delhi Development Authority allegedly tried to commit suicide by taking poison in the office premises in South Delhi on Monday.

According to the police, Asha Agarwal, against whom several departmental enquiries are going on, tried to commit suicide in the office of the DDA Commissioner Personnel, apparently to frame him.

She was taken to All-India Institute of Medical Sciences from where she was later discharged.

The police have registered an attempt-to-suicide case against her.
