Paramount to make garments from bamboo fibre

CHENNAI: Paramount Fabrics India, a technical-textile subsidiary of Paramount Textile Mills, has entered into the manufacturing of premium men's wear garments made of bamboo fibre (regenerated cellulose fibre made from bamboo). It envisages the production of 1,000 pieces per day of bamboo-based men's wears. The company has tie-ups with several knowledge partners in Greece and South Korea in technical textile manufacturing. The company has identified key business strategies to tap the potential of the Indian and international markets.
