HYDERABAD: NMDC recorded two wins in the Sports Un-limited Corporate cricket tournament played on week-ends here. NMDC first defeated IBM by 10 runs and then scored a four-wicket win against Patny Computers. The scores: GE CFS A 177 for three (Sher Singh 79 not out) bt Wipro 99. NMDC 107 for eight bt IBM 97. Veva Infomatrix 145 for four (Nabeel 50) bt Keane India 87. Progress Software 102 for six lost to Wipro 103 for one (Sri Ram 40 not out). Patny Computers 82 (Narayan four for 10) lost to NMDC 88 for six (Sunil 47 not out). GE CFS B 88 for seven lost to Triniti 89 for no loss (Venkat 42 not out).
Evergreen struggles
Evergreen CC was struggling at 173 for eight in reply to MP Colts' 327 in the first innings on the second day of the three-day A-Division league cricket championship match at NFC Grounds here. The scores: A-Division (second day, three-day matches): SCRSA 381 for seven decl. (Agha Ali Hassan five for 107) vs Ensconse 80 for two. MP Colts 327 vs Evergreen 173 for eight (Ravi Kumar 52, Rushiraj 41, Vinay Toloani four for 60). A-Division (second day, two-day match): AOC Centre 289 drew with Zinda Tilismath 80 (Aqeeb five for 15).
