VIJAYAWADA: Two employees of Nagarjuna Cements Limited's (NCL) Kadimpothavaram site in G. Konduru mandal of Krishna district were kidnapped from the site late on Monday night. The kidnappers came in a Tata Sumo and opened fire in the air to threaten the workers, before abducting the employees. Special police parties were pressed into action on Tuesday to nab the kidnappers. The employees were identified as V.V. Rama Raju (50), General Manager, and Galib Saheb (46), Personnel Officer. Factory workers said that four persons, in the age group of 20 to 25 years, came to the factory site and told the security personnel that they wanted to meet the General Manager. The security personnel escorted them to his cabin, where Mr. Rama Raju was in a discussion with Mr. Galib.
