More firms to sell Bt cottonseed

HYDERABAD: Apart from the three companies permitted earlier, another nine firms have been allowed to sell Bt. cottonseed in the State this year, the Agriculture Commissioner's office announced on Tuesday.

The new firms are Mahyco Seeds, Pravarthan Seeds, Prabhat, J.K. Krishidhan, Ankur, Ganga Kaveri, Nath Biotech and Vikram & Ajit.
