Two killed in road accidents

Two persons, including a woman, were killed in road accidents on the city outskirts on Tuesday. A 40-year-old woman died after the motorcycle on which she was travelling along with her husband, was hit by a lorry at Snehapuri Colony in L. B. Nagar. K. Pratibha of Old Alwal was going to her relative's house along with her husband Murali Raj when the accident occurred. Murali escaped with minor injuries, the police said.

In another incident, a youngster died after the motorcycle he was riding was knocked down by a lorry at Tukuguda village near Pahadisharif. M. Sandeep Kumar (22), a private employee and resident of Kandukur village in Rangareddy, was coming to the city when the lorry came in a negligent manner and hit him. Sandeep who suffered serious injuries died on the spot.

Call centre worker found dead

A call centre employee was found hanging at her house at Banjara Hills on Monday. The police said Anshu (27) was married to Ribu, a T.V. serial director and native of Chennai, in 2000. The couple reportedly celebrated their marriage anniversary on Sunday. The Banjara Hills police registered a case of suspicious death under Section 174 of the Criminal Procedure Code and are investigating into it.

Youth found dead

A 20-year-old man was found dead between Moulali and Secunderabad railway stations on Monday. The railway police, quoting eyewitnesses, said the man who was clad in blue trousers and blue shirt was crossing the tracks when the accident occurred. The body was preserved at Gandhi Hospital mortuary for identification and autopsy.

Two injured in group clash

Two persons suffered injuries in a group clash at Gowliguda on Tuesday night. The Police said Deendayal and Shankar tried to prevent Narsing Yadav and his associates from attacking his relative Ashok Yadav over a long-standing property dispute. Narsing and his henchmen later picked-up sticks from a nearby building under construction and attacked Deendayal and Shankar.
