BANGALORE: N. Sitaram, Director of the city-based Centre for Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, has been conferred the `Distinguished Scientist in DRDO' award in recognition of his contribution.

W. Selvamurthy, Chief Controller, Research and Development (Life Sciences and HR), New Delhi, and Avinash Chander, Director, Advanced Systems Laboratory, Hyderabad, have also bagged the award.
