Godawari Power has recommended a dividend of 10 per cent (Re 1 per equity share of Rs. 10) for 2005-06. The dividend will be paid to all the shareholders, including the allottees of the last IPO.

Modern India has acquired 100 per cent holding of Indian Institute of Jewellery Ltd. and the latter has become a wholly owned subsidiary of Modern India.

Tata Steel has stated that HSBC Global Investment Funds - A/c HSBC Global Investment Funds (Mauritius) Ltd., along with PAC: HSBC Halbis Partners (Hong Kong) Limited has sold 12 lakh shares aggregating 0.22 per cent of the total share capital of Tata Steel on June 16, 2006. The mode of sale is through market sale. The shareholding of these two funds after the sale is 1.67 crore shares aggregating 3.02 per cent of the total share capital of Tata Steel.

Rajshree Sugars has stated that Rajshree Pathy, Chairman and Managing Director, has acquired 17,565 shares between June 15 and June 19, 2006, through market purchase and the shareholding after the acquisition is 58.11 lakh shares aggregating 25.61 per cent of the total share capital of the company.

Union Bank of India has entered into an agreement regarding bilateral sharing of ATMs with State Bank of India on June 19.

McNally Bharat has received an order for turnkey contract of lignite and limestone handling system for the 2 x 125 MW Barsingsar thermal power project, Rajasthan, from Neyveli Lignite Corporation for Rs. 177 crore.

Jhagadia Copper has granted 4.66 lakh stock options at an exercise price of Rs. 10 per option of equity share under the Employee Stock Option Scheme 2005.
