Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Governer T V Rajeshwar on Wednesday visited a mango garden in Malihabad area and saw a 90-year-old tree that produces over 300 varieties of mangoes. Mr. Rajeshwar announced a grant of Rs 25,000 to mango grower Haji Ullah to continue his research in mango grafting and plantation. He gave a patient hearing to the problems of mango growers and assured them that steps would be taken to sort them out. He suggested that prominent varieties of mangoes from different States should be grown in Uttar Pradesh. -- PTI
