NEW DELHI: Russia's Alexander Grischuk tamed an uninspiring P. Hari Krishna in the fourth round of the Aerosvit 2006 International Grandmasters chess tournament in Foros, Ukraine, on Tuesday. Having played three draws on the trot, Hari failed to breach Grischuk's Nimzo Indian Defence and slowly let the Russian gain the initiative. Hari resigned after 52 moves. The results (fourth round): Liviy-Dieter Nisipeanu (Rom, 1) lost to Sergei Rublvesky (Rus, 2.5); Andrei Volokitin (Ukr, 2.5) drew with Viorel Bologan (Mol, 3); Ruslan Ponomariov (Ukr 1) drew with Alexei Shirov (Esp, 2.5); Sergey Karjakin (Ukr, 1) drew with Alexander Areshchenko (Ukr, 1.5); Shakhriyar Mamedyarov (Aze, 2.5) lost to Vassily Ivanchuk (Ukr, 2.5); P. Hari Krishna (Ind, 1.5) lost to Alexander Grischuk (Rus, 2.5).
