NEW DELHI: The Municipal Corporation of Delhi has made elaborate arrangements to clear the rush of property tax payers who intend to avail of the 15 per cent rebate by paying their tax before the June 30 deadline. According to MCD's Assessor and Collector Anil Bamba, it has been decided to keep all offices of the Property Tax Department open on June 24 (Saturday) and June 25 (Sunday) also, while the timings of all citizen service bureaus (CSBs) have been extended.
CSB counters
All CSB counters would remain open on June 24 and 25 from 8-30 a.m. to 5-30 p.m., while timings from June 26 to 30 will be 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., he said, adding that senior officials would be available to provide help and assistance to taxpayers in filing their returns. Similarly, camps are also being organised at different localities on the request of area residents' welfare associations and market associations, added Mr. Bamba.
