Case reopened

AHMEDABAD : The Gujarat police on Wednesday reopened a case against actor Salman Khan for allegedly killing ``chinkaras'' (Indian gazelle) in the Kutch district in 1998.

The State Forest Department conducted preliminary investigations but closed the matter for want of evidence. A fresh probe would be conducted, said Kutch CID inspector B. B. Jhala. The reopening of the case follows an application by an NGO. — PTI
