Alumni meet

Old students of Garden City College converged in the city recently to celebrate their Alumni Meet Reunion. Additional Commissioner of Police (Traffic) M.N. Reddy, Rev. Fr. Dr. Paul Puthanangady, Rector and director, Viswadeep; and Tiger Ramesh, CEO Wilderness Resorts, were part of the event.

Keeping in mind the busy schedule of the alumni, the college organised a live online telephonic conversation for the alumni. Scores of ex-students called up to greet and virtually meet one another. With foot-tapping numbers and a musical extravaganza the alumni were back to their fun-filled college days. As Edward Kasamba, an ex-student from Uganda, put it: "we are back to college days."

Incidentally, June 18, the meet day, was also the Founder's Day of the institution. As part of the event, the college's K.R. Puram Lake Development and a mobile movement disorder care centre were launched on the same day.
