Staff Reporter

BANGALORE: Minister for Science and Technology Ramachandra Gowda on Wednesday inaugurated a project by Sri Surabharathi Sanskrit and Cultural Foundation for setting up 25 Sanskrit study centres, 17 of them in Bangalore.

"I am happy that such a project is being launched. We should make efforts to popularise the language," he said.

The foundation, which was set up two years ago, had been conducting classes in Sanskrit for beginners and advanced levels.
